David's books on Birds in Tasmania @ tasmanianartist

Created and independently published by Marlies Bugmann.

Paperback

As the human family's awareness to its environment is gradually increasing, the images of birds give direct evidence of the creative force that shines through all of Mother Nature's accomplishments; by capturing one split-second of a bird's movements it's beauty will be revealed, which otherwise only appears as an indistinct blur.

When an elderly gentleman saw the close-up of a sparrow, he was amazed to see such fine detail and colour on a bird he'd known all of his life as the brown-grey dots that flit around town. Increasingly, the human family is beginning to pay attention to more than simply those things that influence each individual directly, and is beginning to realize the responsibility all of us have towards all life on Earth.

"Whatever you look at is not only looking back at you, but it is also a part of you."

David Irwin, Tasmania.
