About David

David's love of birds has brought him face to face with the largest of Tasmania's feathered inhabitants, the  eagles, as well as some of  the smallest, the beautifully coloured wrens.

His bird photography chronicles the richness of bird life especially in the south-eastern corner of the Apple Isle, Australia's island state.

The remote and exotic locale offers not only breathtaking scenery, but also treasures of a different kind: its bird life.

David says: "If my images give you a glimpse at the creative force that shines through Mother Nature's manifestations, then I will have accomplished what I set out to achieve."
